Style Winners & Losers - March 2nd, 2009
Stephanie McGrath and Christopher Turner
It was a pretty quiet week on the red carpet runway, but Christopher and Steph were able to track down a few fashion hits and misses. The question is, will they agree?

The Jonas Brothers Christopher: For our token “boys” of the week we have the most stylin’ teenage boys on the planet. Seriously. Who the hell is their stylist cause from the minute these 3 boys stepped into the limelight, they have been totally decked out from head to toe. Well Kevin, Joe and Nick hit up the premiere of their new flick Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience last week and of course they were all totally stylin’. My personal fave ensemble has to be Joe’s amazing Alexander McQueen suit. Look familiar to you? SJP wore the matching smoke jacquard dress at the DVD launch for Sex And The City last September. His Verdict: Style Winners Steph: Hey Chris, thanks for tracking down our token male SWL reps for this week! I agree with you, they are “stylin’”. You know I’m a strong supporter of men (okay, in this case they’re more boys), who dare to add a little flash to their wardrobe. In this case, however, I’m going to have to contradict myself. I feel like these three overdo it…too much hair product, too much ‘wowee look at my flashy jacket’. Just too much. That being said, there’s really nothing bad about their individual looks. So I’m going to have to give them a pass. I just would like to see some style flare shine through, without it screaming “We have professional stylists!”. Who do you think were the best and worst dressed last week?

What is sad is that the 'critics', and the majority of the public find the same boring rehashed pap 'stylish'. Style isn't mimicry. Those who dare to be different show true style and creativity.

That has got to be the best look i have ever seen on gwyneth - absolutely arresting! As for Debra Messing - just because its leather, doesn't automatically make it cool.

i must say, i really do like the bottom half of diane kruger's outfit. but as soon as i seen the top...all the love just melted away. the big ruffly necklace thing totally ruined it for me.

Debra, zoe, malin all looked just AWFUL!!!
I don't even care how Tilda Swinton dresses anymore. I love her anyway, and it's to be expected <3

So why did Debra Messing think it was a good idea to wear a leather welders apron with a matching belt...? She just needs a welders mask and the ensemble is complete!

Diane Kruger's outfit is definitely laughable at first glance, but the more I look at it, the more I realize it's romantic and edgy and gorgeous. Perhaps better without the sleeves? Think about it.

I agree 100% with "Cricket's" response that the folds in the skirt of Diane Kruger's dress look like a vag, that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it! Awful.

I am not sure what the rest of you are looking at, but seriously those eyes that dress this lady can not look bad.

What were you thinking on the Jonas bros??? They were wearing outdated clothes that gave them an awkward shape, they looked too short and young. The clothes were way to small and were really ugly.
