        Style Winners & Losers - July 6th, 2009

        Steph McGrath and Christopher Turner

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are the perfect summer couple in coordinating outfits, and Rihanna pays homage to Michael Jackson in this week’s Style Winners and Losers.

Christopher: Steph, it’s been a long time since we’ve featured Marion Cotillard in Style Winners and Losers and the actress is long over-due for an appearance. Of course Marion had been MIA until last week when she hit the premiere of Public Enemies in London looking oh so fabulous in an eye-catching Vivienne Westwood cocktail dress. I am not the biggest fan of the pockets…but I do love a red dress on the red carpet and I adore this red satin strapless dress on Marion. Don’t you love the way the fabric gathers through the bustier? It just adds so much drama and gets Marion back on my fashion radar.
        His Verdict: Style Winner

Steph: Chris, you have impeccable timing. I just went to see Public Enemies today and while I was rather lukewarm on the film, I was on fire over Marion’s style both in the movie and real life. She does not disappoint anyone in this fire-engine red dress. Like you, I love the way the folds along the top half of the cocktail dress soften what could be an overwhelming colour and rather flesh-revealing cut. I know you’re iffy on them, but I like those pockets. I think the folds create a draping affect that just adds to the overall drama.
        Her Verdict: Style Winner

Who do you think were the best and worst dressed last week?
        Carlos says:
As for Jewel...She'd be hot in a burlap sack
        Anonymous says:
I think that her dress is WAY to short, and the pink shoes make her look really cheap. i think that shes really pretty but the push-up bra and skanky heals arent doing anything for those aged knees
        Christina says:
Rihanna's outfit would look less costume-ly without the gloves and shades. The jacket itgreat. Alicia should NOT be a winner. Her outfit look like a beach cover up/tunic... from Wal-Mart.
        Anonymous says:
I THINK THAT SHE LOOKS AMAZING AND THE CKIRT IS STILL A LITTLE TO LONG
        Anonymous says:
I'm not sure about Marion Cotillard's dress. Regardless, she could have chosen better shoes to go with it (ie, more delicate and with no ankle strap).
        Anonymous says:
I can believe how great Ashton & Demi look, they are the best looking couple, to compliment eachothers apprearances like that is amazing! They are both hot, there is no doubt about it!
        Anonymous says:
Stella McCartney looks awful. I wish you two had the courage to admit it. The dress is too short for a women her age, the dress pockets are weird, and her hair is hideous.
        bertha winfrey says:
I think audrina is hot, and she looks pretty. so yeah.. take that! lmao
        Anonymous says:
WOW, what a boring week! Yawn!
        Anonymous says:
What were they thinking Diane Kruger was definitly a style loser. I'm sorry but her outfit was HORRID in capital letters.
