Christopher: Steph, I think that any time there is mounds of tulle slapped on a dress, I am bound to like it! One of my favourite dresses from last week had to be this lovely Vera Wang dress that Hilary Duff wore on the red carpet for Good Housekeeping's 125th anniversary party in NYC. It reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker's Marchesa dress that she wore just a couple weeks ago. I loved SJP's magical dress, but I have to say that I prefer Hilary's more fashionable dress. I guess I don't really understand the Hilary/Good Housekeeping connection... but let's just ignore that for now.
His Verdict: Style Winner

Steph: I think this is THE best dress of the week for sure Chris. The tulle is fabulous and draped in such a way that the dress looks very current and sophisticated, not just pretty and ballerina-like. The detailing along the waist and shoulder are particularly endearing to me. I'm totally in love with this dress. Hilary is impressing me lately with her spot-on style. Remember when people used to compare Hilary and Lindsay Lohan? Um yeah...guess who won the style and everything-else contest?

Ok, whoever took this photo did a bad job. She looks like a cat who swallowed poor little tweety bird.

As for the dress, not sure if I like it or hate it. So, I just might get down my silk organza window covers and try it out for myself.

I'm not a big fan of tulle, especially the piece at the front that looks like it's sagging. Aside from that, I think she looks adorable in it.

I think this dress is gorgeous, and that it is feminine and stylish at the same time with a bit of edge. Love the shoulder and waist detailing.

I really like the bodice, but the tulle skirt seems a bit messy and uneven. Looks like she might be standing too close to the backboard and her skirt is scrunched up against it. Also, the unfortunate placement of her hand and purse may be complicating the appearance.

How on earth is this a winner? It's messy, ill fitting and poorly designed. Looks like she didn't like her original dress and decided to cover it up with a loose piece of material

"Confused" was the word that came to my mind too. The stripes on the under bodice are indefinite also. And her feet weren't quite ready for the photo.

I know this isn't the most intellectual of sites, but perhaps there could be staff to monitor the grammar of Chris' and Steph's comments. "Any time there ARE mounds of tulle".

Lovely shoulder sparkle, btw.
